This location is located in the Leyndell, which serves as the Royal Capital of Elden Ring, and it is the home of a Grave Warden Duelist named Auriza. Aside from that, this cave contains materials for weapon upgrades, items required for spirit upgrades, and a cookbook that is required for the creation of certain items. Part of our Elden Ring runes guide will cover how to complete the Auriza Side Tomb, which will be covered in more detail below.

On this page, we'll go over the steps to completing Auriza Side Tomb in its entirety. A walkthrough will be provided as well as any additional information, such as item drops and the location.

The Location of the Auriza Side Tomb and How to Get to It
The entrance to the Auriza Side Tomb is located just northeast of the Capital Rampart, but it is at the bottom of a cliff. Approaching from the northwest – the Hermit Merchant's Shack is a good starting point – and taking the southeast path beneath the capital bridge is your best bet for getting down there.

Auriza Side Tomb: Auriza Tomb: Walkthrough
Begin your journey through the Auriza Side Tomb by descending the first flight of stairs, where you will find the boss doors directly in front of you, which we must open in order to progress further. To begin your journey, descend the next set of steps, which are located in the northeast. This first room contains five small jar enemies, two of which will explode upon contact with the player. If they start running away from you while sparking, you'll know they're the exploding variety. Bait out their jump attack and then retreat to a safe distance so that they can explode from a safe distance. Once they've been dealt with, return to the room where the pots were found and grab the Grave Glovewort 6 and Grave Violet that were hiding there.

Continue down the next flight of stairs to the northeast, where you will eventually come across a room with a suspiciously unguarded chest of treasure. When you open Elden Ring Runes XBOX, you'll discover that it's a trap that will transport you to another room. Following this new room, down another flight of stairs, and out into a chamber is the next step. You'll catch a glimpse of the boss door lever that we'll need to pull up on an elevated ledge, but it won't be fully accessible until later. Make your way down the stairs, where you'll have to deal with a couple of Jade Goblins who will try to accost you.

First, go around behind the stairwell and you'll find another Grave Glovewort 6. After that, continue on your journey. You can now proceed into the narrow chamber with the Grave Glovewort 5 on the other side of the room. You'll emerge into a watery area that isn't particularly interesting, save for a Jade Goblin perched on a ledge above you, ready to hurl Lightning Pots at you from above. Skirt around the water to avoid the increased reach of the pots, and then enter the next room while keeping an eye out for a Jade Goblin near the entrance to the room after that.

Don't go into this room and open the chest right away. You should instead proceed to the out-of-place alcove on the left, where you'll discover an Illusory Wall. The path down to the Grave Glovewort 5 and another teleporting chest is revealed, as are two exploding pots, which also call this place home. You can use the same strategy you used to bait their exploding jumps as you did with the pots before, and then interact with the chest to be transported to an area that looks remarkably similar to the one we were just in, but it is not the same area.

Get vengeance on the two Jade Goblins who attacked you up here, and then steal the Golden Rune 7 from the corpse you'll come across right away. After a couple of encounters with Jade Goblins, turn around and drop into the room that looks eerily similar to the one where we discovered the Illusory Wall. From there, head down to the chest in the same chamber where you climbed up to the ledge to get the item we were after. Interact with it to be transported to a ledge that appears to be the same as the previous one, but is not.

The presence of two new Jade Goblins on this ledge, ready to be dispatched, is your first indication that this is not the same ledge you were just on. Afterwards, proceed up a small set of steps and a ladder to the northeast, where you will find yourself. In order to be transported to an area that looks eerily similar to the tomb's opening area, interact with the chest you find here. Continue along the lone path forward until you reach a room where you'll be confronted by a large pot enemy. Defeat it to discover a Smithing Stone 5 and a Ritual Pot in the same room as you did in the previous room. After you've finished, return to the room you teleported into when you first arrived in this area and use the chest to teleport back even further.

Drop down into the chamber below after descending the ladder we just ascended a short while ago. There's no reason not to take the main transporter trap chest that's located between the torches here; it primarily serves as a trap that will transport you to a cage with two large pot enemies, but it does contain the Perfumer's Cookbook 3 as a reward for your trouble. The way forward is through the chest behind the Illusory Wall that we dissipated earlier; you'll know it's the right path because it's preceded by the green leaves of the Grave Glovewort 5 that we picked up earlier in the game.

After passing through the transport trap, descend the ledge and proceed through the passage and up the stairs northwest of the watery chamber, as if we were retracing our steps back to the area where the lever is Elden Ring Dragon Knight. Although this is not the area where the lever is located, it can be found by going behind the stairs and finding another Grave Glovewort 6 that is being guarded by a Jade Goblin. Ascend the stairwell to find yourself in a room filled with giant pot and exploding pot adversaries. Remove them both from the battlefield and take some Root Resin from the corpse.

Retrace our steps all the way back to the chamber where we fell off the ledge. In this room, interact with the main chest, which is located between the torches. As opposed to the previous one, which led to a pointless trap, this one takes you to a caged off area with two small exploding pot enemies, a Ghost Glovewort 6, and a ladder leading up. Eventually, you'll reach the boss door lever and a bunch of Grave Glovewort 6 after climbing up a long ladder. Toss that lever, jump off the ledge, climb both sets of stairs to the southeast, and interact with the transporter chest – the final one we'll have to deal with in this tomb.

After being transported back in time, run around the bend and up the stairs, where you'll find yourself in the first room with the small jar enemies we encountered earlier in the game. Continue through this room to the southwest, up the stairwell, and you'll eventually find yourself back at the boss room doors, which should now be unlocked and unlocked. All that stands between you and the boss of this tomb, a Grave Warden Duelist, are a few flights of stairs and a mist gate in the ground.
