Unlike New World, where Steam player counts have fallen to dangerously low levels, Amazon’s other venture, Lost Ark, is still going strong, with 250-350,000 active players in a day, and many are gearing up for more Lost Ark Gold. It should excite some of them that the game is finally getting its first new subclass since launch - Glaivier.
An official tweet may suggest that Glaivier will be released on April 21. This is in line with a roadmap proposed recently, which promised Glaivier and the New World South Vern to arrive in April. Presumably these will come in the same patch, but this has not been confirmed. Glaivier will be the fifth advanced class of Martial Artist, joining Wardancer, Soulfist, Striker and Scrapper.
And it’s a female-only subclass, as Lost Ark oddly splits most of it by gender. Again, no word on South Vern yet, but that should be in the next two weeks as well. After that, they plan to launch another subclass in May, hammer-wielding Destroyer, the fourth Warrior advanced class.
The special case of Lost Ark is that the game has been out for a long time in regions such as Korea, so these are not new classes in the traditional sense, but are deliberately reserved for post-release content here. There’s a lot of that to be done before players get into classes that are truly new to all regions. So players can buy enough Lost Ark Gold at IGGM to be fully prepared. It also gives 6% free gold with every order, try it!
