Hero cards are returning in FIFA 23 with the imminent release of FIFA 23, but will now also get a special illustrated version when the game's World Cup mode launches on November 11. According to EA, the base version of FUT Heroes will be available when FIFA launches on September 30, while each FUT Heroes will get their own special illustrated version when World Cup mode is added. The World Cup version will also have better stats than the base version. The Marvel collaboration will include other items including tifos, kits and balls, and there will also be an online Marvel hero comic book featuring players. Yaya Toure, Park Ji-sung, Ricardo Carvalho, and Claudio Marchisio are the four confirmed FUT heroes so far, with more to be confirmed at a later date.
